About Mia Rosario

Mia Rosario is a Master Level Therapist and alumna of Adler University School of Psychology. She received specialized training in art-based therapeutic interventions focusing on an Adlerian approach. Mia is passionate and driven by her previous experience as a paraprofessional and substitute teacher for neurodivergent individuals. She promotes empathy, compassion, support, realism, patience, and understanding while working with individuals of all ages, especially youth as young as five, adults, and neurodivergent individuals facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress management, social-emotional needs, parental guidance, women issues, relationship issues, and spirituality.

Unique Approach to Therapy

What makes my approach unique? Mia believes every individual deserves personalized treatment and values collaboration and communication when fostering a therapeutic relationship. Focusing on an Adlerian, Person-Centered, Cognitive (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) approach, Mia’s goal is to help you explore options and solutions that best fit your current circumstances and life goals.

Outside of work, Mia enjoys spending time with her family, exploring trails, photography, and building Lego sets.

Specialized & Extended Training

What makes Mia Rosario stand out is her high level of education and experience. She, along with all Center for Creative Arts Therapy therapists, attends at least 120 hours of extensive ongoing training and personal development per year in treating anxiety, depression, work stress, and relationship problems. This rigorous instruction differentiates Jaclyn from others in the field and allows her to provide the highest quality of service to clients.
